Greek-Style Turkey Burgers with Yogurt Sauce

These turkey burgers made in the Greek style are a tasty and healthy take on a regular burger. Blending ground turkey, feta cheese, and Mediterranean spices together makes for a tasty patty. The yogurt sauce adds a creamy and tangy touch. This burger with a Greek twist is great for a summer barbecue or any time you want a filling burger.

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb ground turkey

  • 1/4 cup finely chopped red onion

  • 1/4 cup crumbled feta cheese

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 tsp dried oregano

  • 1/2 tsp ground cumin

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • 4 whole wheat burger buns

  • 1 cup Greek yogurt

  • 1/2 cucumber, grated

  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice

  • 1 tbsp fresh dill, chopped

  • 1 tomato, sliced

  • 1/2 red onion, thinly sliced

  • Lettuce leaves for garnish

Instructions:

Chopped red onion, crumbled feta cheese, minced garlic, dried oregano, ground cumin, salt, and pepper should all be mixed together in a bowl


Combine the ingredients well and shape them into four burger patties


Warm up your grill or grill pan on the stove by setting it on medium-high heat


The turkey burger patties should be cooked for four to five minutes on each side, or until they are done all the way through and have grill marks


You can make the yogurt sauce while the burgers are cooking


Add grated cucumber, fresh lemon juice, and chopped dill to a bowl and mix them together


Add pepper and salt to taste


After the turkey burgers are done, take them off the grill and let them cool down for a while


Put the whole wheat burger buns on the grill and toast them for one to two minutes, or until they get a little brown


Spread a lot of yogurt sauce on the bottom half of each bun before putting the burgers together


Stack a turkey burger patty on top of the sauce


Next, add tomato slices, red onion slices that are very thin, and lettuce leaves


Put the other half of the bun on top, and serve your hot Greek-style turkey burgers

Crock Pot BBQ Pulled Pork

There are only 4 ingredients and very little work needed to make this tasty crock pot BBQ pulled pork. The slow cooking method makes sure that the pork is soft and flavorful, so it can be used in tacos, sandwiches, or over rice.

Ingredients:

  • 3 lbs pork shoulder, trimmed

  • 1 cup BBQ sauce

  • 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar

  • 1/4 cup brown sugar

Instructions:

Place pork shoulder in slow cooker


In a bowl, mix BBQ sauce, apple cider vinegar, and brown sugar


Pour the sauce over the pork, covering it evenly


Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours or on high for 4-6 hours, until pork is tender and easily shredded with a fork


Once cooked, shred the pork using two forks, mixing it with the sauce in the slow cooker


Let it cook for an additional 15-30 minutes to absorb more flavor


Serve on buns or over rice, as desired

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup cooked quinoa

  • 2 ripe bananas, mashed

  • 1/2 cup almond flour

  • 1/2 cup rolled oats

  • 1/4 cup maple syrup

  • 1/4 cup coconut oil, melted

  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder

  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

  • 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips

Instructions:

Warm the oven up to 350F 175C and put parchment paper on a baking sheet


Add the rolled oats, maple syrup, melted coconut oil, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt to a large bowl

Add the dark chocolate chips and mix them in well


Use a spoon or cookie scoop to drop spoonfuls of the cookie dough onto the baking sheet that has been prepared


Press down a little on each cookie with the back of the spoon or your fingers


After the oven is hot, bake for 15 to 18 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown


After taking the cookies out of the oven, let them cool for a few minutes on the baking sheet before moving them to a wire rack to cool all the way down

Roasted Strawberry & Toasted Coconut Popsicles

Ingredients:

After the strawberries have cooled down a bit, put them in a blender


Blend the honey or maple syrup and coconut milk until the mixture is smooth


Add shredded toasted coconut and mix well


Place the mix into popsicle molds


Put in the popsicle sticks and freeze for at least 4 hours, or until the whole thing is frozen


Take the popsicles out of the molds and enjoy once they are frozen

Ingredients:

  • 4 boneless ribeye steaks

  • 1 cup Jack Daniel's Tennessee Whiskey

  • 1/2 cup soy sauce

  • 1/4 cup brown sugar

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 teaspoon black pepper

  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions:

To make the marinade, put soy sauce, brown sugar, minced garlic, black pepper, Dijon mustard, and olive oil in a bowl


Add Jack Daniel's Tennessee Whiskey


In a plastic bag that can be closed again, put the ribeye steaks and pour half of the marinade over them


Put the bag in the fridge for at least two hours, turning it every now and then


Warm up the grill over medium-high heat


Take the steaks out of the marinade and let the extra liquid drip off
